Senior Sales Executive Adds Experience to Growing Medical Device Company

Santa Clara, CA – November 5, 2007 – Bacchus Vascular Inc., a leading provider of innovative medical devices used by interventional radiologists and surgeons for the minimally invasive treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and other peripheral vascular disease, announced today that it has named Eric Heil to the position of Vice President of Sales.

Mr. Heil fills the position vacated by former Senior Vice President of Sales Scott Cramer when he was named President and CEO of Bacchus Vascular in October, 2007.

Mr. Heil has over 18 years of sales and sales management experience in the healthcare and medical device arena with a focus in endovascular specialties. Prior to joining Bacchus, he was the Vice President of Sales and Development for Partners Imaging. Previously, he served as Vice President of Sales for Chase Medical where he was responsible for global sales for the organization. Mr. Heil also held various sales and sales management positions with VNUS Medical Technologies, Endosonics/JOMED, Cardiometrics Inc., DeRoyal Cardiovascular and The Upjohn Company. Eric holds a BA degree from The University of North Texas.
